Manage Wrinkles Without Surgery

Prevent Wrinkles Manage Wrinkles Without SurgeryMen and women alike are always striving to look younger. The fear of aging seems to be part of the human condition. But what many people don’t realize is that prevention is the best cure when it comes to aging. There are plenty of potions and creams out there that promise to make the signs of aging vanish but why wait till it gets to that point? It doesn’t matter how old you are, there are things you should do at every age to keep wrinkles at bay.

Luckily, all the things you can do are easy and affordable. One of the most obvious is to stay out of the sun whenever possible. The sun is the number one cause of aging and experts agree it has a greater affect on wrinkles than genes. Having said that, if you must go out in the sun, always wear sunscreen. Avoid smoking, too. This is one of the biggest anti-aging no-no’s.

Sleep can affect your wrinkles, too. If you don’t get enough sleep your skin will lose its elasticity. Also, if you sleep on your back you can help prevent wrinkles, or “sleep lines”. Sleeping on your side or face-down can cause lines to appear around the cheeks, chin, and forehead. Another good habit is to avoid squinting. This can cause “crow’s feet” and eventually with time, they deepen and become very obvious creases.

Your eating habits can also prevent wrinkles. Consuming fish, soy, and loads of fruits and vegetables can all help prevent wrinkles as they help nourish the skin from within. Research suggests that cocoa can protect skin from sun damage, improve circulation to skin cells, and visibly improve its appearance to make it look smoother and healthier.

Also remember to moisturize and be careful not to over dry your skin by washing it too much. Avoid becoming dehydrated by drinking plenty of water.
